When I saw the initial bloom on this daylily, I thought I had made a mistake in keeping my records. Although both parents were red, this seedling was green and chartreuse and yellow. I later realized that, in-deed, my records were correct. Some may see this introduction as yellow in color, which it is, but it is also much more. The center of the daylily is truly green, and there is also a strong chartreuse color combination. Pollen fertile; Difficult pod parent.
