A STRIKE FOR MARGIE

A STRIKE FOR MARGIE. Tet. 25” Dor. Mre 5” 15 buds. This is a beautiful pink that is just tough. It has been growing in South Dakota for two years, and if it can grow there, it can grow anywhere. I named it for my wife’s mother, Margie Giessinger. Margie loves bowling and so I named the flower A STRIKE FOR MARGIE. It is also a cross between ED BROWN and TAOS. The further north you live the more important the need to have this tough, hard dormant daylily. Also, I should report that I crossed A STRIKE FOR MARGIE with TET. SILOAM RALPH HENRY and the result was a gorgeous white seedling with plenty of green across the eye of the flower. $50
