MORTICIA'S MASCARA. [(Black Ambrosia x Apocalypse Now) x Tet. Kansas
Kitten]. Dormant. Early to mid season blooms. 29”
tall, 4” flower, 3 way branching, 19 buds. I crossed a
Salter daylily with a Hanson daylily, but I had no eyeburst
until I added TET. KANSAS KITTEN. Then,
viola! The dark eye was there. Indeed, it is the
lovely dark eye with the deep, rich viens from the dark
eye running through the petals that gives this daylily it
allure and charm. The eye is so deep green that it look
unreal. The origination of the name began during a
visit that Rich Rosen made to our garden in 2006. Pod
and pollen fertile. $100.00
