This is my best green edged daylily. IRISH HALO has a deep green throat, and a lovely ivory polychrome self, with a gorgeous green edge that surrounds each of the petals. This spring I entered IRISH HALO as a numbered seedling into the competition at our annual Daylily Show. We had fifteen (15) judges. IRISH HALO was selected as the best seedling, then, it was judged to be the very best of the 496 daylilies that were entered in the show. Each of the 15 judges decided separately that IRISH HALO was unique, that it was noticeably distinctive, and that, indeed, it was the Best in the Show. What better recommendation could there be for a new introduction? You will truly appreciate IRISH HALO because it has four-way branching, and buds that are not crowded or overly concentrated.
