This is the best daylily I have ever grown. If you purchase anything from my collection, be sure to include this astonishing flower. It is a magnificent parent, and a beauty in the garden. As a parent it has produced the best red daylily that I have grown. As for the name, KENNESAW MOUNTAIN HAYRIDE, when I was very young I once went on a hayride. It was so much fun that I thought of that when I gave the HAYRIDE its name. Performs well in Ohio as well as in south Alabama.
